It’s About Timing

Posted on

Most people are conscious of time. They look at their watches all the time. We are often concerned whenever our time is wasted. We get irritated whenever people are late, or when people hinder us from accomplishing our goals on time. Time is gold, we say. Or we might say, “Time is an opportunity — don’t waste it!” So we ask each other “What time is it?”

In the midst of this obsession with time, can we look at time in a different way? The Bible teaches two aspects of time — time as chronos (which is what we normally think of when we talk about time) and time as kairos (or time as season, e.g. time to plant, etc.). It’s time to learn how to live based on kairos rather than on chronos. Listen as PB explains this principle from the life of our Lord Jesus Christ.
